For nearly 70 years, Capitol City Baptist Church has been preaching the Word of God and ministering to the people in the Lansing area. During that time the church has had the privilege of great longevity in the pastorate with our current pastor being the 4th pastor during our history. In our services you will find music that is centered on the truths of God's Word and preaching that comes straight from God's Word. Our church uses the King James Bible and sings God honoring hymns but this doesn't mean our church is old and boring. The preaching is passionate and the people are loving. The pastoral leadership will be in suits on Sunday but you will find those in attendance in attire ranging from suits to casual attire. Our desire is for you to simply come and grow in Christ!
